Responsibilities

  • Leads a technician team which is responsible for the field support activities at the customer sites
  • Interacts closely with development engineers to resolve system assembly and integration issues
  • Provides Hands-on assistance with prototyping of mechanical / electrical components / wire harnesses until the project completion
  • Works on integration and testing of the multidisciplinary projects
  • Monitors the prototype and spare parts components inventory
  • Travels to domestic and overseas internal & customers sites to receive or to provide training
  • Performs upgrades & provides preventive maintenance, tests, and troubleshoots systems at the customer sites
  • Works accordingly to safety rules
  • Effectively works and prioritizes activities with minimal supervision and direction
  • Performs documentation of the specifications, assembly process, and test results
  • Manages all activity and responsibilities related to onsite mechanical /harness prototyping workshop
  • Participates in field tests if required

Qualifications

  • Mechanical / Electrical Technician certificate or other relevant education – minimum requirement
  • Bachelor's degree in Mechanical / Electrical – preferred
  • Proven ability to manage and motivate teams
  • Problem-solving and decision-making skills in real-time
  • Proven experience with mechanical assembly and integration projects
  • Proven experience in system integration and troubleshooting
  • Familiarity with mechanical and electrical tools in assembly line
  • Ability to read and understand technical drawings and manuals written in technical English
  • Knowledge of production management software and ERP systems
  • MS-OFFICE ( Word, Excel, Power Point)
  • Proven experience with system maintenance
  • Experience with weapons and military systems – a plus
  • A good technical sense with hands-on attitude
  • Able to instruct customers with good training skills
  • Excellent written and verbal English
  • Willing to travel abroad
