We’re looking for people that can work with Project managers to help determine how systems should get deployed on infrastructure. They will work with the PM’s to raise the required requests with the different operations teams to get systems stood up and assist the PM’s to get over any technical issues relating to delivering the projects. Helping to troubleshoot issues pulling in the appropriate technical teams as required.
Key Responsibilities:
Work with PMs
- Assist PMs in understanding how systems should be deployed.
- Raise required requests with different operations teams.
- Help overcome technical challenges in project delivery.
Troubleshooting & Support
- Identify and resolve deployment issues.
- Coordinate with technical teams for troubleshooting.
- Provide support for on-premise services.
Technical Strategy & Implementation
- Develop solutions for deploying systems efficiently.
- Proactively anticipate potential issues and drive continuous improvement.
- Contribute to High-Level Design (HLD) and Low-Level Design (LLD) documentation.
Infrastructure & Networking
· Strong understanding of on-premise infrastructure.
· Familiarity with networking concepts such as micro-segmentation, DMZs, load balancers, firewalls (e.g., FortiGate).
Automation & Scripting
· Experience with automation tools like Ansible, Terraform.
· Ability to create scripts to streamline deployments.
Containerization & Cloud
· Experience with Kubernetes, OpenShift is a plus.
· Understanding of modern containerized environments.
Security & Authentication
· Knowledge of firewalls, cyber security best practices.
· Experience with authentication protocols like SAML, OAuth.
Operating Systems & Monitoring
· Solid knowledge of Windows and Linux.
· Familiarity with VMware, storage, and databases.
