• Open to relocate for 1 year minimum in France
• Support creation of component specification, component DFMEA, DVP and other technical design documents
• Work closely with CAE teams, interpreting and using analysis results to guide and evolve the design
• Plastic feasibility knowledge (demolding, injection)
• Must be experienced with material selections such as plastics, molded rubber parts and seals
• Participate in feasibility studies / design review meetings to assure products are efficient and robust
• Negotiation with surrounding component business unites
• Complete component and system validation as required, ensuring system targets are met and optimized
• Analyze and manage multiple design related issues to identify root cause
• Supplier management for manufacturing feasibility, validation, and other engineering activities as specified for the assigned commodity

• Technical university degree
• Min 5 year experience in a similar position
• Management of the digital model
• Knowledge of tooling for diecast and plastic injection processes is an advantage
• 3D CAD software knowledge such as Catia V5/6 or equivalent
• Proficient in MS Word / Excel / PowerPoint 
• Language: Advanced English and French (writing and speaking)
