Responsibilities

  • Lead the solution design of HR and payroll architecture across multiple countries
  • Assess current systems and identify gaps for transformation
  • Create and maintain detailed solution documents, architecture diagrams, and process workflows
  • Collaborate with internal teams and vendors to support product evaluations and define fit-for-purpose solutions
  • Ensure all proposed solutions are scalable, compliant with local regulations, and aligned with global HR/Payroll strategy
  • Provide subject matter expertise in RFP processes, implementation planning, and roadmap definition
  • Act as an advisor on integration strategy between core HRIS and payroll systems

Qualifications

  • Proven experience in HR and Payroll systems across multiple regions:
    • Strong understanding of UK, Irish, and EU payroll landscapes
    • Familiarity with 3–4 local payroll providers per region is a strong plus
  • Hands-on experience in solution architecture and creating high-level and low-level designs
  • Skilled in preparing solution and architecture documentation, including process flows and integration diagrams
  • Ability to evaluate and compare HR & payroll systems, tools, and vendors
  • Strong functional knowledge of HRIS platforms:
    • SAP (HR/Payroll)
    • Workday
    • UKG (Ultimate Kronos Group) - a plus
  • Strategic mindset with the ability to balance technical and business perspectives
  • Excellent communication and stakeholder management skills
