Responsibilities

As a Site Reliability Engineer, you will be responsible for ensuring that our services are designed, deployed, and operated at scale, with high availability and performance in mind. You will work closely with development teams to build and maintain the infrastructure and tooling that underpins our platform’s reliability. Your expertise will help drive innovation and operational excellence throughout our software development lifecycle.

  • Develop new shared services to improve Worldline’s velocity and innovation, integrating community products into the ecosystem 
  • Design and develop internal tooling using scripting or advanced programming languages 
  • Support business lines migrating existing solutions to the new infrastructure using Infrastructure as Code, automation, and CI/CD 
  • Manage, innovate, and continuously improve shared services and tooling to enhance availability, scalability, and efficiency 
  • Work crossfunctionally to build fast, reliable, and resilient production systems 
  • Develop, configure, and enhance automation stacks and CI/CD pipelines 
  • Create and maintain clear technical and user documentation that can be shared and improved collaboratively 
  • Perform daily operational activities including change management, application monitoring, and deployments

Qualifications

We look for big thinkers — people who drive positive change, show initiative, and have a passion for reliability engineering, automation, and continuous improvement. In practice this means:

  • Minimum of 3-5 years of Linux experience in a HA environment
  • Self-starter, autonomous
  • Comfortable in development/programming skills
  • Excellent knowledge of products from major storage vendors (HPE, HDS, NetApp, PureStorage, etc.)
  • Technical knowledge of block and file storage systems and SAN/FC and SAN/IP systems is essential
  • Used to work with source version control like Git, GitLab, Bitbucket, GIT flows and CICD
  • Used to work with Puppet and Terraform
  • Comfortable with Scripting (bash / python / ruby / puppet / CICD)
  • Understanding of network protocol (IP, DHCP, DNS, BGP, Load balancing,...)
  • Experienced/Proficient in at least one programming language (Java / GoLang / Perl, etc.)
  • Proficiency in English is mandatory.
