Responsibilities

The DevOps is responsible for supporting software integration, build and delivery activities across projects. The role focuses on CI/CD pipelines, version control, automation and build environment maintenance, ensuring reliable and efficient software delivery.

  • Set up and maintain branches and version control workflows using Git, Gerrit and similar tools. 
  • Integrate, build and deliver software components based on the release plan and project requirements. 
  • Configure, maintain and improve CI/CD pipelines and build automation solutions. 
  • Support and optimize build environments, deployment workflows and integration processes. 
  • Use scripting and automation to reduce manual activities and improve reliability, scalability and efficiency. 
  • Investigate and resolve build, integration and pipeline issues in collaboration with development and test teams. 
  • Process defects and change requests through Jira or similar ticketing tools and communicate integration status clearly. 
  • Prepare build-related documentation and release notes, and contribute to project meetings and reporting. 

Qualifications

  • Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science or another relevant IT field. 
  • 2+ years of experience in DevOps, software integration, release engineering or CI/CD environments. 
  • Good knowledge of CI/CD concepts and hands-on experience with tools such as Jenkins, Bamboo or GitHub Actions. 
  • Good knowledge of version control systems such as Git and Gerrit. 
  • Good scripting skills, preferably in Python and/or Bash. 
  • Hands-on experience with Linux environments and command-line usage. 
  • Good understanding of ticketing and collaboration tools such as Jira. 
  • Strong analytical, troubleshooting and problem-solving skills. 
  • Good communication skills in English, both written and verbal. 
  • Organized and detail-oriented way of working, with the ability to document clearly and concisely. 
  • Experience with Docker and/or Kubernetes. 
  • Exposure to cloud infrastructure such as AWS.  

Desired skills

  • Knowledge of embedded Linux, Android AOSP or Yocto. 
  • Awareness of process models such as Automotive SPICE. 
  • International travel may be required depending on project needs.
