UWB Engineer

• Analyze UWB session issues between smartphone and vehicle ECU
• Debug CCC UWB ranging sequences
• Investigate STS errors, session recovery, and timing inconsistencies
• Analyze UWB logs, including: Session Manager logs, Ranging frames, Diagnostic traces
• Support CCC Digital Key Release 2 / Release 3 integration
• Analyze BLE ↔ UWB interactions
• Investigate issues such as: Session drops, Ranging failures, Inconsistent distance measurements, STS mismatches, Unstable recovery sequences
• Support vehicle validation and CCC certification processes
• Collaborate with BLE, Security, and System Architecture teams.

• Strong knowledge of Ultra-Wideband (UWB) protocol
• Experience debugging secure ranging communication between smartphone and embedded devices
• Understanding of CCC UWB session architecture
• Experience analyzing UWB traces, including: Session manager logs, Ranging frames, STS index handling, Recovery sequences
• Strong understanding of UWB concepts: STS (Static / Dynamic), Session configuration, Controller vs Initiator roles, Distance measurement techniques, Timestamping, Synchronization
• Strong debugging and analytical skills.

• Degree in Embedded Systems, Telecommunications, or similar field
• Experience with low-level protocol debugging
• Strong skills in timing-critical communication analysis
• Experience with smartphone-to-ECU communication is highly valued.
