The Opportunity

Join the client's Secure Access Services team as a Cloud System Engineer Citrix, helping manage and transform secure access platforms from on-premise Citrix environments to Citrix Cloud. The role combines Citrix platform engineering, infrastructure troubleshooting, security-minded operations, and close collaboration with application packaging and infrastructure teams.

Day-to-Day Responsibilities:

• Manage on-premise Citrix platforms: NetScaler 1, CVAD, PVS, MCS, WEM and App Layering.
• Deploy and manage cloud-based Citrix platforms as part of the Citrix Cloud transformation.
• Troubleshoot Windows, Active Directory, virtualization, storage and network-related issues with the relevant teams.
• Support roadmap items, client migrations and customer onboarding projects.
• Execute changes, resolve incidents, handle user escalations and maintain technical documentation.
• Participate in the single-point-of-contact rota and 24/7 stand-by rota for high-priority incidents.

• Academic/Bachelor level education or equivalent.
• 5+ years of relevant experience
• Strong collaboration skills in international, multicultural environments.
• Excellent English, written and verbal.

• Ability to engage with technical and non-technical stakeholders at all levels.
• Excellent problem-solving, analytical, security-minded approach.

• Strong expertise in Citrix technologies, including CVAD 2402 LTSR (or newer), Citrix Cloud and NetScaler.
• Cloud & Hybrid infrastructure experience (Citrix or Azure, AWS, GCP).
• Citrix image and environment management: PVS, MCS, App Layering and WEM.
• Infrastructure knowledge: Windows Server 2019/2022, Active Directory, VMware, storage and network/firewall topics, Global Load Balancing.
• Operational experience resolving user incidents, including stand-by support outside office hours.

• Cloud certifications: GCP, AWS or Azure.
• Cloud deployment technologies: Terraform and Puppet.
• Infrastructure tooling: Trellix, Zabbix, Qualys and SentinelOne.
• Citrix security and access: MFA on Citrix, OTP, n-factor authentication and Citrix Endpoint Analysis (EPA).
• Compliance and security best practices in cloud environments.
