System Architect – Automotive Embedded Linux

• Define and drive the software and system architecture. 
• Lead architecture design activities and ensure alignment with product, customer, and business requirements.
• Provide technical leadership for development teams working with C++, Linux, and embedded platforms.
• Drive architecture reviews and support key technical decisions throughout the development lifecycle.
• Promote software engineering best practices, including clean architecture, design patterns, and code quality standards.
• Collaborate with development teams to solve complex technical challenges and guide implementation.
• Analyze technical risks, system constraints, and hardware/software limitations, proposing effective solutions.
• Create and maintain architectural documentation using UML and related standards.
• Support platform integration and adaptation in Linux-based and embedded automotive environments.
• Evaluate new technologies and development approaches to improve software quality, scalability, and engineering efficiency.
• Work closely with customers, product owners, management, global engineering teams, suppliers, and Augmented Reality experts to ensure successful product delivery.

• Master’s degree in Computer Science, Software Engineering, Electronics, or a related technical field.
• 5+ years of professional experience in modern C++ (C++14 or newer) software development on Linux platforms, including work on complex software systems.
• 2+ years of experience in software architecture, technical leadership, or senior technical roles involving architectural decision-making. 

• Experience with automotive diagnostics, including: UDS (Unified Diagnostic Services), DoIP (Diagnostics over IP), DTCs (Diagnostic Trouble Codes), Diagnostic Sessions.
• Strong understanding of: Object-Oriented Programming (OOP), SOLID principles, Design Patterns (GoF), Clean Architecture concepts. 
• Hands-on experience with: STL and boost libraries, algorithms and data structures, performance optimization techniques. 
• Solid knowledge of Linux and Embedded Linux environments, including hardware and software constraints on ARM-based platforms.
• Experience with software architecture and UML-based design documentation.
• Practical experience with Git, CMake, and debugging tools such as GDB.
• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, with the ability to assess technical risks and define effective solutions.
• Excellent communication and collaboration skills, with the ability to work effectively with customers, product owners, management, and global engineering teams.
